What inspired your career?

Becoming a doctor has been my dream for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I witnessed my mother and father both have lifestyle limiting back pain and bearing witness to that as a child was incredibly difficult for me. I wanted so badly to help them but at the time, I wasn’t able to. Ultimately they both had back surgery by a gifted neurosurgeon and their lives were completely changed for the better. That one surgeon changed the trajectory of their entire lives, and mine (as their child). To have that sort of impact on another person’s life- it’s a tremendous honor and a unique privilege. It was during those childhood years that I realized I wanted to help people who felt weak, sick and vulnerable. I want to help people feel better. I do not think there is a more rewarding profession out there.

What is something you want all of your patients to know about you?

I did not get into this profession to turn my patients into different people. I became a plastic surgeon to help my patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. I want to help my patients maintain their identity by bring forward the best version of themselves.

How do you want your patients to feel after they meet with you?

I want my patients to leave my office knowing that we are a team and that our goals are the same- I want to make them feel proud, confident and comfortable so that they can live their lives to the fullest. I want them to feel safe and reassured that they are in good hands. I will not overpromise or overstate what I am capable of doing regarding their transformation - I will always be completely honest with anyone who steps into my office. There are endless options when it comes to plastic surgeons in Southlake and the DFW area, and I want my patients to know that they made the right decision when they walked into my office.

They can expect a visit which is very personalized and tailored to their needs. We are here for them! They can expect to be greeted by warm and welcoming staff. They can expect an honest, open and communicative surgeon during their initial consultation. And when they see their final results, I want them to know they placed their trust in the hands of a capable and technically gifted surgeon.
